About this project

Saori Yoshida is an accomplished clarinetist specializing in solo and orchestral performances. She began her musical journey at Suma Gakuen High School’s Class I Arts Music Course and further pursued her passion for music at the Department of Music Performance at Doshisha Women’s University Faculty of Letters.
In September 2018, she moved to Europe and graduated with distinction from the Master’s program (Soloist) at the Royal Conservatory of Liège in June 2022. In June 2023, she completed her second Master’s program in Bass Clarinet at the same institution, followed by a Master’s degree in Orchestra with grand distinction in June 2024.
Saori has participated in numerous performances. She passed auditions for the Asian Youth Orchestra in July 2016, participating in tours across six Asian countries including Japan. She performed at the Newcomer Concert in June 2017 and 2018.
In March 2020, Saori was selected as a soloist for the Orchestra Concert at the Royal Conservatory of Liège to perform Max Bruch’s E minor Double Concerto, which unfortunately got canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May 2024, she interned at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie Liège.
