Yoon Jaeyoon
Yoon Jaeyoon
About this project
Yoon Jaeyoon was first introduced to the clarinet through a middle school club activity. I originally played the piano, but after encountering the clarinet, I developed a strong interest in this instrument and decided to major in it. My first teacher in middle school was someone who had done a lot of research on sound, and I accepted his teachings positively, striving to produce good sound. After graduating from middle school, I attended an Arts High School in Seoul, Korea, where I completed a three-year program. In high school, I aimed to develop my musical identity through various school music activities and external music camps. My high school teacher taught me in-depth about proper breathing techniques and expressions suitable for different pieces of music. After graduating from high school, I enrolled in the Korea National University of Arts, where I am currently studying. At this university, I am learning to broaden my musical scope by combining advanced music theories with various music pieces. Since entering university, I have achieved good results, such as winning first place in a relatively large competition held in Korea. My goal is to become a good performer who combines the emotions inherent in music, the stories music tells, and my musical interpretations, rather than sticking to conventional music. Eventually, I aim to pass these qualities on to my students.
