Born in 2004, Wang Ning has been learning clarinet since childhood. In 2017, he was admitted to the Affiliated High School of the China Conservatory of Music and studied under Professor He Yi, a famous Chinese clarinet player and educator. During his time at school, he participated in many performances and master classes, etc. In the same year, he participated in the Singapore International Chinese Art Festival and won the second prize.

Performed at the Dalian International Clarinet Art Festival in 2019. In the same year, he performed solo works at the Lanzhou International Clarinet Saxophone Music Festival at the China Conservatory of Music.

In the 2023 year, he was admitted to CRR de Paris to study with Florent Héau, a famous French international clarinet soloist and educator, and Alexandre Chabod, the chief clarinetist of the Paris Opera.
In 2024, he was admitted to the Geneva Conservatory of Music (Hem de Genève) to study with Romain Guyot, a famous international clarinetist and educator.
