Born in 2003, Yan Mařatka began playing the clarinet at the age of 8 and entered the CRR of Paris the following year in Franck Amet’s class. At 16, he joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, first named in the class of Philippe Berrod and Arnaud Leroy, where he is currently studying.
