Oleh Malovichko – clarinetist, born in 1995, Tarnopol (Ukraine). A graduate and currently a PhD student at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Cracow (Poland).
As a soloist and first clarinetist of the “COLOR” clarinet quartet, he has won many awards at music competitions in Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Greece, Italy, including – Grand Prix at the International Music Competition (Belgrade), 1st Prize at V Rome International Music Competition “Melos” (Rome), 1st Prize in the International Music Competition “eMuse” (Athens), and many others.
Over the last year he has performed as a soloist with the symphony orchestra of the Rivne Philharmonic, the symphony orchestra of the Philharmonic of H. Wieniawski in Lublin, a series of concerts with the symphony orchestra of the “Art Without Borders Association Basel”, symphony and chamber orchestra of the Ternopil Philharmonic.
He participated in master classes under the supervision of such authorities of the music world as: Francois Benda, Sharon Kam, Paul Meyer, Nuno Pinto, Jan Jakub Bokun, Nina Janßen-Deinzer, Stephan Vermeersch, Wojciech Komsta, Harri Maki, Kilian Herold and Gabor Varga.
He has performed at many festivals such as The International Festival “Chopin and His Europe”, ClarinetFest Ostende (Belgium) or International festival “ISA” in Vienna (Austria).
