About this project
Born on September 30, 2002, he began learning the clarinet in the initiation program at Artâmega – Academy of Arts of Marco de Canaveses. Throughout his academic journey, he attended several Masterclasses with highly recognized pedagogical teachers such as: António Saiote, Iva Barbosa, João Ramos, Vítor Pereira, Tiago Abrantes, Cândida Oliveira, Jordi Pons, Carlos Ferreira, Vítor Fernandes, Horácio Ferreira, Sérgio Neves, among others. He has participated in various national and international competitions for the instrument, receiving high praise from the respective juries. Among these participations, the following awards stand out: 3rd Prize in the 7th Luso-Spanish Competition of Fafe, Category A (2013); 1st Prize in the 8th Luso-Spanish Competition of Fafe, Level II (2014); 3rd Prize in the 9th Luso-Spanish Competition of Fafe, Level III (2015); More recently, he also won 1st Prize in the International Music Competition Terras de Santiago, Level IV. He is a member of the Symphonic Band of the Republican National Guard He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music – Orchestra Instrumentalist at the National Superior Orchestra Academy, under the guidance of Professor Nuno Silva.
