About this project

Erik Mirzoyan is an Armenian clarinettist born on October 18, 2002 in Moscow. Erik is a student of the “Barenboim-Said Akademie” in Berlin in the class of the soloist of the “Berlin Staatsoper” Matthias Glander, and also in the chamber music class of the “Berliner Philharmoniker” soloist Emmanuel Pahud. Erik is listed in the International Encyclopedia of Culture, Art and Media Figures of Armenia.
Finalist of the international competition “Classic Winds” in Dubai (UAE). Laureate of the “Chieti Classica International Clarinet Competition” in Chieti (Italy). Erik has performed on one stage with Daniel Barenboim, Vasily Petrenko, Gianandrea Noseda, Joshua Bell, Emmanuel Pahud, Nikolai Lugansky, Alexandre Kantorow, Sir András Schiff, Lisa Batiashvili, Michael Barenboim, Denis Matsuev, Vladimir Spivakov, Sergey Smbatyan, Jan Latham-Koenig, Maximino Zumalave and many others.

Erik is a Guest Principal Clarinet of the Academy orchestra of the “Berlin Staatsoper” and “Eroica Berlin” chamber orchestra. Erik is a Principal Clarinet of the “Barenboim-Said Akademie” orchestra under the direction of maestro Daniel Barenboim. Has performed with solo-recitals in different cities on various concert venues of Armenia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Italy, Denmark, France, the United Arab Emirates, China, Vietnam, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Poland, Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine.
