About this project

Eduardo Fernandes Laranjeira was born in March 2005 and began his musical studies in 2013, at the Escola de Música de Perre, continuing them in 2014 at the Academia de Música de Viana do Castelo in the class of professor Mário Bezerra. In 2018, he entered the Escola Profissional Artística do Alto Minho in the class of professor João Ramos. He participated in several masterclasses with teachers Nicolas Baldeyrou, Pascal Moragués, Varga Gabor, Horácio Ferreira, Jessica Bessac, Carlos Ferreira, Paolo Beltramini, Vitor Fernandes, Nuno Pinto, Bruno Silva, João Ramos and António Saiote. Additionally, he participated in two chamber music masterclasses with Evan Rothstein and Olga Prats.

He had the opportunity to work with several conductors, including Ernst Schelle, Julian Lombana, Moritz Gnann, José Eduardo Gomes, Javier Viceiro, Paulo Areias, Luís Carvalho, Jan Wierzba, Diogo Costa and Alberto Roque.

He won 3rd place in the APROARTE orchestra in 2021, and in 2022 he won 1st place in that same orchestra. Got an honorable mention in X
Concurso Nacional Jovens Clarinetistas and first prize in XII Concurso Nacional Jovens Clarinetistas .

He is currently studying with professor Nuno Silva at the Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra.
