Jiang Hongyi, was admitted to the Middle school of the Central Conservatory of Music in 2015 with excellent results, where he also served as the principal clarinetist of the Central Conservatory of Music Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2021, He was admitted to the Central Conservatory of music with first place. He has studied under renowned clarinetists including Professor Yuan Yuan, a doctoral supervisor and the head of the Orchestral Instruments Department at the Central Conservatory, Professor Florent Héau and Professor Alexandre Chabod. In 2024, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, becoming the only student accepted into the clarinet program at the conservatory this year.

In July 2018, invited to attend the ICA. In August 2018 he won the first place for the 2018 BUFFET Asia Pacific Clarinet Music Competition.
In September 2021 he won the first place for the Buffet Crampon Clarinet Competition. In November 2023 he won the first place for the Lisbon international clarinet competition and in March 2024 he won the first place and the audience award for the 52nd International Jeunesses Musicales Competition Belgrade.
