About this project
Clarinetist Taig Egan is currently a student at the Juilliard School in NYC, where he studies with Jon Manasse; he previously studied with Sam Boutris. Recent highlights include a concerto performance at the International Clarinet Association’s 50th Anniversary ‘ClarinetFest,’ a solo appearance on the WQXR Young Artist Showcase series, and chamber and orchestral performances at the Sarasota and Tanglewood music festivals. He performed Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto with WCP in their first concert in November 2022. In his spare time, Taig plays jazz saxophone and clarinet, looks up obscure etymologies, and works at the Juilliard bookstore.
