About this project
Luz Sedeño, Spanish clarinetist, obtained her bachelor’s degree at Musikene (San Sebastian Spain) with teachers Antony Pay, Jose Luis Estelles and Henri Bok. She later obtained a Master Soloist at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Geneve under the tutelage of Mr. Romain Guyot.
She is the winner of international competitions such as: 2nd prize at Jacques Lancelot Competition and SACEM prize for the best performance of N. Bacri “Concerto Breve”, 1st Prize of Fondation Marescotti in Geneva, Switerland”, First prize in “Mravinsky International Competition” in Saint Petersburg among others.
Luz Sedeño has performed as a soloist with: St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra, Opera de Rouen Normandie, Paulavičius Youth Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg, orchestra Haute École de musique de Genève, Granada Classic Orchestra, Musikene Symphony Orchestra.
She has been member of Youth Orchestras: Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Young National Orchestra of Spain, Young Orchestra of Andalusia.
She has also collaborated with professional orchestras such as Orchestra Suisse Romande, L’Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, Opera de Lyon, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra National of Lyon, Opera Liceu of Barcelona, Opera de Toulon, Ensemble Contrechamps Geneve, Bilbao Orchestra Symphonic, Basque National Orchestra, Orchestra City of Granada…
Currently, she is Selmer Artist.
