About this project

Shuei Ito began to play the clarinet at the age of 9.  The 8th Young Clarinetist Competition Her Junior A Category Gold Award, Sponsoring Three Company Award (August 2015).

He was winner of the Semi-Grand Prix in all categories of the competition of the 8th Gifu International Music Festival Clarinet Division Junior High School Specialized Course  (May 2016). He received the highest award for woodwind instruments in the A category of the 21st KOBE International Music Competition (January 2016). We won the 3rd prize of the 17th Osaka International Music Competition
Section I Woodwind Division Age-J (Highest prize). He won the 1st prize in junior high school division in the 10th Yokohama International Music Competition Wind instrument category. He won the 1st prize  an also Received the K Concours Special Award in the 3rd K-Concours Woodwind Instrument Competition  (July 2017). He was selected as a scholarship student for the 2018 Yamaha Music Scholarship by Yamaha Music Foundation and received scholarship for 3years.

He won 1st Prize and Semi-Grand Prix in the 22nd Japan Player’s Competition Wind Instrument High School Student Division.

Shuei graduated from the Music High School Attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2022 and currently is a second year student at CRR de Rueil-Malmaison.
