Semi Final Gents Madrigaalkoor

The applications for the preselection of the 6th International Clarinet Competition were a great succes. 65 candidates where selected to participate in the actual competition. Find out about the candidates on their personal pages.

Semi final of the competition take place on November 3 – 4 – 5, 2024 in the Miry Hall of the Royal Conservatory of Ghent and exists of 2 different part. Part of the semi final is with mixed choir and the other part is with stringquartet

On November 3, 2024 the semi finalists will perform with the ‘Gents Madrigaalkoor’ conducted by Johan Duijck. They perform the obligated piece ‘Ich Liebe Dich’ written for this competition by Johan Duijck and a solo piece for clarinet. Two concerts will be organised where each time 3 semi finalists will perform.
