Final Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen

The applications for the preselection of the 6th International Clarinet Competition were a great succes. 65 candidates where selected to participate in the actual competition. Find out about the candidates on their personal pages.

The final of the competition takes place on November 8, 2024 in the Miry Hall of the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. During the final the 3 laureats will perform with ‘Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen’ conducted by Jean-François Verdier.

They perform all the obligated piece ‘The songs of Arion’ composed for this competition by the Belgian composer Erik Desimpelaere and a concerto they have chosen.
